Veneer Peeling Machine Failure and Treatment Method

Electrical part

1. Fast forward, fast reverse normal, feeding motor does not turn when rotary cutting?

Reason: The encoder connected to the double roller is damaged or not connected properly.

Computer display encoder failure.

Solution: Replace the encoder or replace the rubber hose.

2. Fast forward, fast reverse , rotary cutting starts normal operation but the feeding motor does not rotate?

Reason: The cross switch has been damaged

Solution: Replace the new cross switch.

3. Friction roller does not turn?

Reason: The AC contactor has been damaged.

Solution: Replace the new AC contactor.


Mechanical adjustment part

1. The veneer suddenly thins during the rotary cutting process?

Reason: The feeding screw lack of oil.

Solution: Grease the feeding screw to lubricate the feeding screw

2. The thickness of the veneer is not uniform before and after, and it is regular?

Reason: 1. Peeling knife seam too large.

2. The height of the peeling knife blade is too low.

       3. Peeling knife grinding angle is wrong.

Solution: 1. Small knife slit.

2. Recheck and adjust the knife height.

3. Reshaping the peeling knife.

3.  The veneer presents a fan shape?

Reason: 1. The left and right peeling knife seam sizes are inconsistent.

            2. The height of the two ends of the peeling knife is inconsistent

            3. The height spacing between the single friction roller and the double friction roller is different from left to right.

            4. The distance between the two ends of the table and the ends of the double friction roller is inconsistent (measurement can be found)

Solution: 1. Readjust the peeling knife seam.

             2. Check the peeling knife height and re-fix.

             3. The distance between the highest point of the double friction roller and the highest point of the single friction roller is 34 mm. The reason for this situation is that the customer is not standardized when repairing the roller.

             4. Separate the drive shaft and pull the spiral bevel. If you cannot solve it, please contact the manufacturer.


Comprehensive part

1. Poor veneer smoothness?

Reason: 1. Peeling knife seam too large.

            2. Peeling knife is too blunt.

            3. Peeling knife height is too low.

Solution: 1. Adjust the slit according to the working current.

             2. Re-grinding peeling knife.

             3. Re-fixing the peeling knife height.

2.  Veneer uniformity difference?

Reason: 1. The height of the peeling knife is wrong.

            2. Peeling knife is too blunt.

            3. Peeling knife gap is too small.

Solution: 1. Re-fixing the peeling knife height.

             2. Re-grinding peeling knife.

             3. Readjust the peeling knife seam.
